Home Sick Pilots showed me just how good both @danpgwatters & @caspar_wijngaard could be! Wasn't my first experience of their work, but first together, and the one I use as examples of just how good they are! Plus, it's really fun to describe what this book is about...
The A-Z continues with Grommets! I'm feeling very ill, so you're not gonna get much from me, but if you're an ex-skater kid, of a certain age, I'd say this one could land just as well with you.
If not? It's still a damned fine book!

I've already spoken at length, on multiple videos about just why FML gets its spot in the A-Z of smaller press books that have stayed with me, and I think every comic book punk, outcast, anarchist, and scene kid needs to go and find copies of it...
I swear, it's pure coincidence that I'm once again promoting @thatjacobphillips & Chris Condon, but the A-Z of books I've loved continues with The Enfield Gang Massacre. I LOVED That Texas Blood but this is a true Western, and one that understands the flaws and falsehoods of the Great Man theories we're so used to seeing in that kind of story, and skewers them. It also muddies the water in who the heroes of this kind of story can be, but is perfectly clear when it comes to the villains...
Good morning #comicbook fans! Two of my favourite creators, @thatjacobphillips & Chris Condon have dropped the latest #DCVertigo book, and if you want a hard boiled noir tale, full of twists and mystery, I think this might do the job!
The A-Z of comic books that have moved me continues with the Department of Truth. Honestly, this dropped @jamesthefourth & @martinsimmonds onto my radar in a big bad way, and I've been picking up their stuff ever since!
From the darkness of the crisis actor story, to the beautiful sadness of the Bigfoot arc, with Marilyn Monroe & Elvis Presley keeping you company on the way, this is a must read book!
Can't wait until vol2 the hardback comes out this summer!
We recently picked up some second-hand graphic novels, and a lot have been dropped into our clearance shalves, but there's a few that are hard to find and worth some money to the right collector, so we're dropping those onto our website this afternoon!
